Hello, In the Message; Subject : geopip Message-ID : <9fdf1f53-8cef-47ba-a430-1c5f16e2dcd5@comcast.net> Date & Time: Wed, 17 Jul 2024 13:40:29 -0400 [MS] == Michael Spartana via openSUSE Users <users@lists.opensuse.org> has written: MS> Hi, MS> Curious...what is this when I do a zypper -v dup MS> Retrieving: geopip..........................[not found] MS> The message appears like 6 times along with the repository checks. The download system has been changed (on July 11?). The former system of downloading packages by referencing /var/cache/zypp/geoip.d/download.opensuse.org been changed to a time-consuming configuration in which https://download.opensuse.org/geoip is executed one by one in each repository. In download.opensuse.org was cachemirror-jp.opensuse.org, but in geoip it is <geoip><region>as</region><country>jp</country><host>cdn. opensuse.org</host></geoip> It used to be possible to change the mirror server by changing the contents of download.opensuse.org, but I don't know how to change it now. Moreover, previously, I could download files on https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/ via cachemirror-jp, but now I can download directly from https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/ Best Regards. --- ┏━━┓彡 Masaru Nomiya mail-to: nomiya @ lake.dti.ne.jp ┃\/彡 ┗━━┛ "Distinguish between what is meaningful to me and what is meaningless, and forget what is meaningless to me.
