I don't think you'll ever get those messages if you do not send a rply to the list -and- to him. I always do a Reply To All and remove all but the list. When I'm lazy, I don't do that. I've replied to some of his messages, and got the mail. But other messages without his direct address didn't return.
So maybe we'll have to reply only to the list to prevent those messages from coming.

You missed the point. I'm not sending messages to him. I don't even know who he is other than the email address the shows up in the reply. I get the messages any time I post to the list nomatter who else I send to. It's an error, like a bounce when someones mailbox is full only this appears to be an error in some sort of forwarding attempt. I don't know why I get them and some people don't but I am not the only one. I started this whole thing to make sure I wasn't the only one. Now that I know I am not I would like to complain to the list maintainer which I plan to do after I finish writing you. This has been going on for around two to three weeks. I think whoever it is has been given enough time to fix it and they simply don't care or don't know they are causing a problem.
I would add a rule and filter also, but I leave my mail on my POP server so I can read it on my laptop when at my office and retreive it on my desktop when at home. Thanks anyway but it is not a problem with how I am sending mail.
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you, I just thought that was the cause, since I seem to be getting them only when I send mail to him directly. I checked my -bad- folder, and it's pretty clear: there are new messages from that postmaster and I didn't sent any mail to him.. The reason is clear: the user doesn't exist anymore, so: List Maintainer: get him off, he's probably fired. Again I'm sorry, I clearly didn't look to well before I sent the message. I will look better in the future.
