I'm using 10.2 and want to listen to music. Playing Amarok I see the music played but don't hear anything In YaST2 I see KT266 onboard audio is the default. The volume for CD is 67 and for PCspeakers 53. What else should I do to hear music?
If all the things Kai suggests fails, you may have wrong hardware settings. Start by making sure that you PC speakers' volume is turned up physically on the physical speakers. Have you turned up the volume on the CD player device? Some devices have a physical volume wheel that must be turned. Check your cabling. Have you connected the speakers to the right output on the computer? Internally, have you properly connected the CD player to the main board's audio plug?
