-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Thanks to James and Curtis for their quick answers! You indeed helped me a lot (I was considering buying a G550 dual head, now I'm not so sure). My reservation about Nvidia is not about the closed source drivers, it's because I know that some Nvdia have very, very bad quality TV-out. It's nice to see that some cards are not so bad, so I'll try to find the same as you. James, you have a Ge4-Ti4200, Curtis, which one do you have? I understand your reservations about using a nvidia card. I follow vid card devel fairly closely, and ATi is kicking some serious butt. However, they have, and continue to, lag somewhat on making a robust driver set for Linux (pity). Some swear by it but I understand it can be inconsistent (driver wise that is).
Nvidia's drivers work nicely and the new nvidia "run" routine program to install the drivers simplifies things a fari amount.
Just something to consider.
