"John Blue"
I am using SuSE V* with KDE 3.0.5 and Samba installed on a small network. Presently I use a windoze package for faxing via a serial port Fax/voice/modem, however this is single user and only available from the windoze NT pc. This modem is separate to my internet connection which is via ADSL broadband.
I am still finding my way around Linux so am not looking for a complex solution. However I would appreciate suggestions on which software may be suitable for faxing from my small network using the KDE desktop. I would prefer integrated sending/receiving/viewing. I have been looking at various packages, including Hylafax but from what I have seen so far it is perhaps "too heavy" for my needs??
All suggestions appreciated.
Yeah, there have been a couple of new releases announced on freshmeat.net for lightweight faxing solutions. One is xfax and the other is efax. Go to http://freshmeat.net and search for fax. -- use Perl; #powerful programmable prestidigitation
