Hi
When will the standard (default) opensuse repos be updated to 4.7.4. Kubuntu has already been updated to latest bug fix release of 4.7.
Thanks
Never. openSuSE never updates packages except in the case of sever security bugs. Most of the time the security fixes are back ported and made available through the update repo. However there are non-standard repos that may contain updated packages.
If you want the latest KDE 4.7 release, then you can add and update from the repositories documented here: http://en.opensuse.org/KDE_repositories#Previous_Upstream_release_aka._KR47_... If you'd like to bump up to KDE4.8, then add and update from the repositories documented here: http://en.opensuse.org/KDE_repositories#Upstream_release_aka._KR48_.28KDE_SC... This same Wiki page has all the information you should need about what repositories are available for KDE4 and what the risk/impact may be (eg updating from KDE Trunk could easily result in a broken system, but updating from KDE4.8 Stable is a pretty safe choice).
