Hi list, I've noticed that bugs in some plasmoids can crash the whole Plasma Desktop. E.g, there are cases when Dilbert Comic Plasmoid gets confused with new arrangement on Scot Adams' web site, and it crashes causing the whole Plasma desktop to go off. This makes me wandering about Plasma design, architecture, security and other conceptual stuff. I mean, the widgets (plasmoids) come from all sort of sources (it's meant to be like that), and it seems that any of them can crash my desktop at any time. If they can crash it, than it means they can do a lot of other stuff as well. One would expect that Plasma should be better isolated from plasmoid impact on its stability. Just thinking that somebody on this list might come with more insightful and educative comment.
