Adam, Simon - Thanks for your suggestion to use a virtual machine to solve my issue with routing. I have no experience with installing and using virtual machines, and fear a steep learning curve may be required. I will keep your ideas in the back of my mind, for future reference in case I can't find a solution with existing tools in OpenSuSE. Hopefully I can find a solution that won't take a lot of time to implement. Marc...
