Hi There
I have tryed for the last two weeks, to get my 3Com network interface card to work with Samba Server... but without any luck. It seens like at can't "ping" the interface from another machine (Win98, Win95, WinNT and Mac). But it's okay from the machine itself.
I am using 3c59x as a driver. System tells me that the card is working okay, when i look in the log files. But i do get some error about socket address 0.0.0.0 port 139 already used.
Does your enet card work for normal TCP/IP communications within the LAN? -------------------------------------------- Brad Shelton bshelton@ole.net On Line Exchange <A HREF="http://ole.net"><A HREF="http://ole.net</A">http://ole.net</A</A>> Detroit News <A HREF="http://detnews.com"><A HREF="http://detnews.com</A">http://detnews.com</A</A>> - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A</A>> and the archiv at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A</A>>
