I still like reiserfs. XFS also works but I probably haven't spent enough time tweaking it, so I view it as a bit of a space hog. The admins here prefer ZFS and that seems to work but it absolutely must have SSD for the metadata otherwise it's a complete dog. JMHO, YMMV.
