Hi,
Hi. I have SuSE Linux 8.2 and Escalade 7545. There is a problem installing and running 3dm utility v7.6.3. Running install.3dm results following errors:
1) This error msg always displayed no matter of dir I am enetering: Please enter the location of the help documentation. [/usr/local/doc/3dm] /usr/share/doc/packages/3dm Bad syntax, perhaps a bogus '-'?
2) 3ware rc script is buggy. Trying to start it throws this: Starting 3dmd using configuration found in /etc/3dmd.conf **** /etc/init.d/3dm: line 7: /etc/rc.config: No such file or directory
try with "touch /etc/rc.config" and see if it works -- Togan Muftuoglu Unofficial SuSE FAQ Maintainer http://dinamizm.ath.cx
