ln -s linux linux-2.2.13
ln -s linux-2.2.13 linux
I end up getting the symbolic link of linux but it appears to be pointing to linux, and not linux-2.2.13. Whats more, it drops this link into the linux-2.2.13 directory and not into /usr/src, which is where I am currently located.
I checked all the permissions and such on the folders I am dealing with (because I didn't know where else to start), and permissions on the linux-2.2.13 look just like the permissions on linux-2.2.10 (which was the kernel installed off the 6.2 cd-rom).
What am I doing wrong here?
Thanks for any help!
