Hello,
I like to dial in from work on my PC. But I like to make sure that only *I* can dial in. The system is SuSE 8.0 and I have a ISDN Fritz Card. Can I allow only my number on the card dirctly, or is there an other way to block all but my number?
Dunno about that one, but you could set up a dial-back system: You dial the box and log in The remote box hangs up and dials you back Since the number the remote box uses to dial back is set in advance, you know it can only come to you.
How can I protect aginst a faked called ID ?
I understand it's practically imposible to do this without the help of the teleco provider. Dylan -- "Sweet moderation Heart of this nation Desert us not, we are Between the wars"
