So what is that? A memory leak in kernel? Did anybody else see anything similar?
Everyone see it. It's the kernel caching what's on the disk so it can retrieve it quicker the next time you ask for it.
I'm not talking about disk cache or buffers, I'm talking about used memory - buffers/cache: total used free shared buffers cached Mem: 514956 449288 65668 0 18284 50284 -/+ buffers/cache: 380720 134236 Swap: 987988 5856 982132 ^ ----------------------- the number 380720 is what I'm talking about.
