English International keyboard in KDE 3 (SuSE 8.0)

Sorry, but setting my 101 keyboard with Gnome to English (U.S.), layout U.S. - International, was so easy. But in KDE I'm not achieving the same results, why? I can't see layout U.S. International as an option. How could I do that? thanks for any help a.
