Isn't there a way to run SpamAssassin on the list?
They do. On your own email: X-Virus-Scanned: by amavisd-new at localhost X-Spam-Flag: NO X-Spam-Score: -0.001 X-Spam-Level: X-Spam-Status: No, score=-0.001 tagged_above=-9999 required=5 tests=[RP_MATCHES_RCVD=-0.001] autolearn=disabled It did not work out.
Also, FWIW, I've seen more than one list-server *ask* me if I want to be sent a copy of my own emails (I usually choose yes, so _I_ can see my posting in list context), as well as a separate option to suppress list-based duplicates if the user's email is detected in the "To" or "Cc" fields. I usually choose no, as I, both, prefer to get personally-addressed copies in my personal email-box, as well as see the post in list-context where I usually have a list-centric email-box).
I select yes, but I have a local filter to classify them into a different folder. I don't want the list to not send an email because of a possible duplication, and then don't receive any copy for some other reason. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 13.1 x86_64 "Bottle" at Telcontar)
