No idea where it is in 8.0's YaST2 or kppp, but at least in 6.4 it lives in /etc/rc.config.d/i4l.rc.config I4L_LOCALMSN_0
The file doesn't exits and I couldn't find any other file where that variable is defined. However, /etc/sysconfig/isdn/cfg-net0 has a variable MSN, which is set to my MSN. Hmmm. I guess I will have to do a more thorough search of the web. Thanks for the help.
