I've read all of the past three months emails about installing SuSE using ftp, but I always get the same message: "You have either chosen an invalid installation medium or none at all" I'm installing on a Toshiba Satellite 200CDS using a 5.3 boot disk. I step through the menus about the ftp host. I enter (tried ftp.suse.com, ftp.suse.org, ftp.rnl.ist.utl.pt) ftp.suse.com it connects, then I enter the following as a path: (I've tried /pub/SuSE-Linux/6.0/, /pub/SuSE-Linux/6.0/suse, /pub/SuSE-Linux/6.0/suse/) /pub/SuSE-Linux/6.0 It loads into ramdisk. I then step through the "install from scratch", But when it tries to install the file system, I get this message: You have either chosen an invalid installation medium or none at all!" What!!! Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong? Thanks. -- Brian Millett Enterprise Consulting Group "Heaven can not exist, (314) 205-9030 If the family is not eternal" bpm@ec-group.com F.
