I need that, since I edit copy that comes from this program, via the net. WordPerfect for Windows can do that. Ouch, no idea. I did just check the file filters and there's a ton of them, but cannot tell without really trying. I need WINE to do AutoCadLt 95 for Windows, and to run GW BASIC and Borland Pascal programs, which I have had no luck in trying to run natively in Linux. There are also some other Windows programs, like EZNec, that I need to run on occasion. It would be nice to run Eudora, also, which I like better than Kmail, altho Kmail is not bad. Put that on my Wife's computer so she can stop using that horrid OE. It is nice :). Perhaps they will make a Linux version sometime, but then try and pry mutt from Linux users... I don't understand the reference to "Adobe crap"--below--Adobe created pdf, afaik, so how could it be "crap?" I have never had any trouble with pdf files in Windows, so if someone is having trouble with them in Linux, it is probably a problem with the Linux version of the decoder. Be reasonable: this is mostly a contributor environment, and there may be bugs that have to be worked out. Sooner or later, they will be. I hope and expect. I am not a programmer, so I have to rely on those who are. I am grateful to those who put these bugs to rest. Don't forget you don't have to be a programmer to contribute! In fact by being so open with your issues and what you need you have just contributed. Now if you went and subbed to some relevant lists (cups, samba and wine etc) and posted your thoughts and issues there you may directly influence development. Or indeed submission of bug reports too.
