That is because you are using the openSUSE version of Firefox. The above report is from someone who either runs upstream Firefox or openSUSE w/o KDE on Tumbleweed, because that is the only version where Gtk3 is currently being used. The $SUBJECT is pretty much misleading because the original author basically complains about plain Gtk3 filechooser so it should be addressed to the Gnome people.
