[opensuse] no sound any more

My sound system has crashed, i guess. My kde/system settings 'multimedia' states that all internal devices were removed; it only sees a 'dummy' output device. Same situation for different users, although yast can detect the intel sound card. Any crucial package has been removed by mistake? Which one?
