Help I can't figure out my sound on opensuse 11.0. I have an audigy4 card. I can play mp3's in amarok but nothing coming through the speakers. If I open krecord it is recording the sound. I hear a pop when i start the computer and the speaker volume on. I went into kmix and turned all volumes up and made sure it wasn't muted but still no sound from speakers. And the speakers work. I know I'm missing something but what? I only have opensuse 11.0 on the system. Solved! Made sure I was part of audio group and had to select audigy in kmixer. I knew it was simple.

Bob where in Kmix did you set the type audio board (Audigy)? I do not see a place to do it. My problem is no sound in Amarok. Kmix seems to work and all kde sounds work. Also Kaffine plays sound fine.
