Either edit lilo.conf manually or use Yast to install lilo to mbr. -----Original Message----- From: Andrew Smith [SMTP:andrew@andrew.dabsol.co.uk] Sent: Wednesday, January 05, 2000 11:22 PM To: SuSE Linux Mailing List Subject: [SLE] Changing Linux Drives Hi I have SuSE 6.1 installed onto /dev/hdc and boot via a floppy with LILO (/dev/hda is an old unused hard disk). Is there an (easy) way of setting it up so that linux automatically boots. Obviously i need to change the drive over to the primary controller (/dev/hda). Apart from /etc/fstab, are there any other changes i need to make? Also, at home I recompiled my kernel to include SCSI emulation and created a boot disk to boot that kernel. The boot disk does not use LILO - it comes up with "Loading Linux......" straight away. Is there any way i could have a similar setup for the hard disk.
