I always make a habit of reading Makefiles prior to "make", so perhaps I changed the install destination, although /usr/local is the de facto dir for install usually. If it's bailing on you during compile, paste the output when it bails and I'm sure I or somebody else will be able to spot the reason why it's choking. It's running fine on my 5.2 box.
