Hi Paul; The reason that you have not seen the lateer Kernels is because of the testing and such SuSE will go through before any "official" posts......I do not know what you are doing, but do you have _specific_ needs for a newer version? If you are interested in looking at a newer .x release just for fun you can find tar balls of the source at people/mantel/next in the pub dir on ftp.suse.com and its mirrors.....however, like I said, unless you need something specific it might be a lot of wasted Cycles on your part. I've seen lots of references to experiences with newer 2.4.x kernels (2.4.2., 2.4.3, and even 2.4.4). I know I can get them from kernel.org, but the references seem to imply that there are SuSE versions of at least some of them available also. All I've been able to find (on the web page ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/update/7.1/kernel) is an RPM for the compiled version of the 2.4.2 kernel. Can anyone point me to SuSE sources for the 2.4.2 kernel or to binary updates for 2.4.3 or 2.4.4?
