Who's making what strawman? this whole thread is about the removal of support by openSUSE of ReiserFS
I disagree with that assertion. I started this thread and raised some questions relating to the ambiguities in the statement in the blog. A number of people have harked on that and how those basic questions remain unanswered. One of the earlier questions was about the 'removal' of the capability to configure ReiserFS, but out to Carlos, who seemed to take the wording in the blog literally (which is why I see it as ambiguous: if he can interpret it like that,, well ...) that ReiserFS wasn't "in" YaST, that Yast was just a collection or Ruby scripts :-) My question about the existence of lib/modules/4.13.3-2.g38f3021-default/kernel/fs/reiserfs/reiserfs.ko in Leap15 and subsequent kernels -- THAT issue of "removal" -- remains unanswered, and, by implication, mkfs.reiserfs etc. Hmm, I've just noticed that Reiser4 is in http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/filesystems/ Who is responsible for that? WHOOPS! There goes another question :-) -- A: Yes. > Q: Are you sure? >> A: Because it reverses the logical flow of conversation. >>> Q: Why is top posting frowned upon? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
