[opensuse] How to make tags and comment work in Dolphin/Konqueror?

I'm finding that dolphin lacks the ability to add ratings/tags/comments to files that stick around. I can enter them, and they promptly vanish. Baloo is enabled and running. I have kio slaves in there.
