Aborting package creation. Cleaning up...OK Bye. - ---------- As it happens, I do have the rpm created on 10.3. I install it. Now I run checkinstall: it suceeds. I can install the new rpm. Why? Because installing the rpm creates the paths that checkinstall can't. Why can't? that's the problem.
