Hi gentlemen:
I am log in as root and run wvdial and go to another console as xxxxx user. Is this the secured way of internet conenction or do I have to do wvdial as xxxxx user. It seems that I cant access /dev/ttyS1 even after configuring it in YAST and also chmod & chgroup commands. Thanks for your assistance to this newbie question. I will log in in my linux box next time. As you see I am in AOL mail. :-)
Actually IŽm able to log on as user! But when I sometimes log on inside the console and then afterwards log on in X, I have to do /sbin/SuSEconfig before this would be possible !! It's pretty annoying though ! Is there a workaround for this ?? /Niels SuSE 6.2/homeuser without a network ! --
