I agree, well said. -----Original Message----- From: Stuart Powell [mailto:SPowell@pcsolutionsmn.com] Sent: Friday, May 31, 2002 12:27 PM To: suse-linux-e@suse.com Subject: Re: [SLE] must you Spam the list? Ah, Bill, you must be new to the list. You must also be an MS Outlook/Outlook Express user. Some time ago, dep got a bee in his bonnet about receiving virii from Outlook/OE users, and has begun a personal crusade to rid the world of these most proliferate of virus delivery tools. To this end, each of his messages is carefully crafted so as to confuse Outlook/OE. I always see his messages in red, with a little flag next to them in the message list, and the content of the message is hidden in a difficult to access .dat file. However, here in the office, the messages work just fine in Groupwise. I can't blame dep for getting upset about the number of virii in circulation, but I don't agree with him deliberately excluding a large portion of this list's readership with his childish antics. I gave up even attempting to read his obscure messages long ago, and now have a rule directing them straight to the Deleted Items folder. No doubt I will now get flamed for calling a fellow list member childish. My asbestos undies are firmly in place; bring it on !
