Hi, I just put the disk to ftp.suse.com:/pub/suse_update/suse52/disks/aic7890 It will take some hours until it's really there (currently I can't remember how often Bodo runs the mirror, but I think it's about three times a day). Just give it a try. And remember that there are known problems when narrow devices are attached to the controller. If you succeed in installing you will get some warnings wrt modules because the kernel on the bootdisk is 2.0.35 and installed modules are older. You can ignore these. I appreciate any feedback, but please don't expect me to answer every single mail. I get dozens of questions regarding the 7890 a day ;-) -o) Hubert /\\ _\_v PS: If you have problems with another AHA2940, this disk _might_ solve your problems. I've tested it on an Adaptec AIC-7881U (rev 0). - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
