I recall one of Lennart's articles discusses using systemd without initrd.
An initrd has always been required, it happends that now (and certainly in the future) systems without initrds will fail to boot. Several critical parts of the startup sequence will be driven by systemd from the initrd in future openSUSE incarnations. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
