The OpenOffice_org-kde4 package is the KDE4 integration. You're using KDE3... so do not need to install that package,,, it's not for your desktop anyway, so I'd say you shouldnt' install it at all... maybe the KDE3 guys have built the KDE3 integration package?
There is, its OpenOfffice_org-kde but it seems it somewhat broken so the best way is not to install both. OpenOffice automatically detects KDE3 and has good KDE3 integration in its core packages.
Anyway either way it's not a critical thing... you don't actually need that package to use OOo
Try this... in OOo, go to Tools > Options > General and put a check in the box next to "Use OpenOffice.org dialogs" and see if your save dialogs reappear.
