Hi, I have a weird problem with firefox. Whenever I click on Mr Fox on my taskbar (KDE 3.4.2, SuSE 10 X86_64) I get a browser up on screen, but 2 firefox boxes (what DO you call the instances that appear in the taskbar??) appearing in the taskbar with the egg-timer rolling over on them. Eventually the 2nd one disappears and I'm good to go. This is with the SuSE compiled version of Firefox (installed via Yast) and I get the same behaviour with both the 32 and 64-bit versions, BUT not if I start firefox from the command line. Then I get 1 browser window, 1 taskbar instance and everything is hunkydory. So what's up with Mr Fox (on the taskbar)? Cheers, Jon. -- Jonathan Brooks (Ph.D.) Research Assistant.
