I use vlc to watch TV. As everybody knows, the TV stations broacast commercials (ads in America terms) which are always some % louder than the program being broadcast - ans which is damn annoying :-( . Does anyone know of an application which would keep the loudest sound level set to comfortably listen to a program to apply to commercials? Something like a "cruise-control" on a car which keeps the car running along at a preset speed? Any ideas anyone?
