Hi all, I need to download some dependencies for a package, i dont want to isntall the package but want to isntall the dependencies so that i can compile it from source. How do I do that? I can see the dependency list but if i press install it will install the entire package. I am visually impaired so using orca the screen reader for Gnome to perform this. Many thanks, Christian
I think that it is not so easy, as you need -devel packages to compile from sources. So normally work zypper si package, which install sources for package and all its build dependecies, but due to https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=450261 it is now broken :( JR -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
