So are you guys saying that some recent update for su or sudo or whatever package brought in the insults as a new default? i never even remotely heard about such a feature of su sudo ever in the past. Very eerie and weird :( what the heck is leap becoming? i have often mistyped some root passwords in the past and only seen these insults on a machine today. :( who is coming up with these ideas and changes and most importantly, why? :(
Just check your config file. The default in the binary has always been to insult, unless suse applied a patch to disable and then forgot to apply. I don't know about such a patch. The *suse default has been to disable insults in the config file, so what you have to check is that config. An update does not change the config file. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
