All, What is triggering updates for virtualbox in the Virtualization repository when there has been no change in the virtualbox version? For example, The 4.3.14 updates have been: python-virtualbox-4.3.14-121.2.x86_64 virtualbox-4.3.14-121.2.x86_64 virtualbox-guest-kmp-desktop-4.3.14_k3.11.10_17-117.3.x86_64 virtualbox-guest-kmp-desktop-4.3.14_k3.11.10_21-121.2.x86_64 virtualbox-guest-tools-4.3.14-121.2.x86_64 virtualbox-guest-x11-4.3.14-121.2.x86_64 virtualbox-host-kmp-desktop-4.3.14_k3.11.10_17-117.3.x86_64 virtualbox-host-kmp-desktop-4.3.14_k3.11.10_21-121.2.x86_64 virtualbox-qt-4.3.14-121.2.x86_64 Now there are more proposed: New: virtualbox-guest-kmp-desktop-4.3.14_k3.11.10_21-121.3 virtualbox-host-kmp-desktop-4.3.14_k3.11.10_21-121.3 Upgrade: python-virtualbox virtualbox virtualbox-guest-tools virtualbox-guest-x11 virtualbox-qt Why are there updates when the virtualbox version has not changed? Also, does anyone have a spec for building/packaging the virtualbox.org version of virtualbox? The latest at virtualbox.org is currently a 12.3 rpm: http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/4.3.14/VirtualBox-4.3-4.3.14_95030... I would like to package that for 13.1, but I would like to avoid reinventing the wheel. The will at least give some protection against trivial changes triggering a complete update of the same version. (yes, I know the 12.3 version will install on 13.1..., but if I can package a 13.1 version, I'd rather do that) Anybody know what the virtualbox.org opensuse spec looks like or where to find it? -- David C.
