I have reported this problem to bugs.kde.org under bug 69994. So this post is a bit of electioneering on my part: please, if you're interested in using K3B for backup, go to bugs.kde.org and cast your votes for bug 69994. Many thanks!
Indeed. Is this not the third time you've informed us of this behavior?
Of course. The point of my message was not to inform people of the behavior (though those newly added to the list might not know of it) but to enlist support at kde.org for getting the problem fixed. bugs.kde.org has a voting system where you can vote for a bug, and presumably, the more votes for a bug, the higher the priority they attach to fixing it. OK? Paul
