Hi, Thanks for your responses. Found that I did not install the xdeveloper's kit. It compiled beautifully after installation and now can play .avi with graphics. Thanks once again. Danny
Hi, I Been trying to recompile xanim from SuSE. As usual, I used YaST to install "Xanim-2.70.63-3.src.rpm" to get the source. When I run "xmkmf" as according to the documentation, the message below appears:
xmkmf: mv -f Makefile Makefile.bak imake -DUseInstalled -I/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/config Imakefile.c:13: Imake.tmpl: No such file or directory imake: Exit code 33. Stop. ===============================
Did I miss something? I using SuSE 5.1.
Any poiters or help is deeply appreciated.
Danny

I believe that you need to have imake installed... it works a little differantly than make... Also make sure that you have you Makefile configured correctly for linux... I compiled on a HP700 and I had to go in and change some of the config's for that particular setup (even though it said the HP options have be implemented... etc...)
Good Luck...
