Scroll horizontally by holding down Alt-key does not work

Scroll horizontally by holding down Alt-key does not work, according to: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100558 this is a bug introduced by suse. Anyone know something about this? It's a pity that horizontal scrolling is not working. -- Richard Bos Without a home the journey is endless
