if this document is dated then how do you create a patch cd? I only take one machine to my local group which meets at the university. I need to share files either by patch cd or by crossover cable. As I have one monitor the patch CD would be the best solution. CWSIV On Sun, 30 May 2004 15:39:58 +0200 Anders Johansson <andjoh@rydsbo.net> writes:

Can someone tell me If and possibly How in Suse 9.x it is possible to write the Online-update patches to a CDR/CDRW Patch disk?
If later reinstallation ore more installation of the whole OS, the patching would be faster from this 'backup Patch CD'. Is the Yast2 tool "Patch CD" applicable for this purpose?

It looks a bit outdated though, I think 9.1 uses the path from the version number and doesn't need the i386/update/ anymore.
