Hello again,
I fixed my sendmail problem.
Here is what I did I added a line
Fw/etc/sendmail.cw
I also remioved the line: DMgatekeeper.patebonding.com
sendmail.cw contains patebonding.com
Why am I posting?? It was interesting that in the sendmail.cf file created by SuSEconfig had no reference to the sendmail.cw file. Is this no longer the recommended way to define what domains sendmail is answering to?? .
endmail.cw is good if you have a lot of hostes you get mail for to your machine. And it's easy to create your own sendmail.cf by adding one line to the m4 makro file it is generated from. But the easiest (and well working) way is to put the names you will accept mail for in the variable SENDMAIL_LOCALHOST in rc.config. SuSEconfig will then add a DM line with all this hosts in your sendmail.cf automatically.
