One can switch to video which would it make understandable that the screen lock is prevented, but I run only the audio.
It doesn't matter if the stream window is active(visible) on the appropriate desktop or minimized: Screen lock is prevented when it's on Desktop 2, but not, when it's on Desktop 1.
(DRS3 is very boring Swiss radio with only about 50 songs that constantly repeat, but it makes a bit of noise in the background while I'm working, has no advertising spots and talks in my native language... the only excuse I have :-) )
I have a trick for the radio. I don't know about your problem, though, but maybe it helps, dunno. I use <https://streema.com/radios/> to search for stations. When found, click, it opens a secondary small window that plays the station when press play. Example: <https://streema.com/radios/RNE_Radio_5> Click play, it opens <streema.com/radios/play/RNE_Radio_5> Again click play. When it actually plays, ctrl-i for information. On the media tab, find the mp3 link (or other kind). Copy the link, and open it in VLC. When this starts playing, close the firefox player window. It uses considerably less resources. You can save the link for another time: vlc https://dispatcher.rndfnk.com/crtve/rne5/main/mp3/high -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from Elessar, using openSUSE Leap 15.5)
