Sigh. Changing the reply-to field is a bad idea, that's why this list doesn't do it anymore. There are simply better ways to take care of this, one of them being a mailer that has a list-reply function, or proper use of mail-followup-to.
Well quite. Netscape doesn't seem to do this, but in other respects is the only usable mail client I've come across for Linux - which isn't saying much, and is quite a shock.
Well, you didn't mention Mutt, so I'll refer you to <A HREF="http://www.mutt.org/"><A HREF="http://www.mutt.org/</A">http://www.mutt.org/</A</A>> As long as to you console based != always hard to use you may like what you find. I'm by no means a console-only person but I still use Mutt for mail because it simply has more features than the other mailers I've seen and is really easy to learn and use. (I do personally prefer a console mailer so I don't have to be somewhere I can run x to get my mail, but anyway...) It makes processing large volumes of list mail and other mail pretty much painless. -- Jeremy Blosser | jblosser@firinn.org | <A HREF="http://jblosser.firinn.org/"><A HREF="http://jblosser.firinn.org/</A">http://jblosser.firinn.org/</A</A>> -----------------+-------------------------+------------------------------ "Would you fight to the death, for that which you love?
