Uhm, thanks, I already have 2.2...but: Well, I for one, think that's a Good Thing it's being released NOT on 6.0. I think 2.2 ( as I said in another mail ) is bound to not be quite as stable as 2.0.36, and that an os should ship with a 'proven' kernel. There have been some bug reports on kernel, and some of the type of bug---'hey look what happens when I do this ---whoolah: system crash' vareity ...:-) I could see people having fits. I still think ( be this Linux or not --to whoever said that the post release patch stuff was a M$ thing and not a Linux thing ) that 2.2 will be better after the first bunch of patches come out and it's run for a while on allot of machines---hopefully dev boxes filing bug reports. -M - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A</A>> and the archiv at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A</A>>
