This is a duplicate since i noticed that my system time was way off. Hi all, I've just convinced a friend of mine to install SuSE 7.3. Everything went fine except now he is asking me how to connect to the net via his Telus Velocity ADSL connection. I'm running cable so this is new to me. I don't have alot of time today to research this and he is getting frustrated and I'm afraid of loosing him back to WinBlows haha. If anyone can please help with this urgent situation, that would be greatly appreciated. Especially another Telus ADSL user. With the amazing state that the SuSE distro is in, I know I could convince him that linux is the answer, but having a net connection is the key here. Also, he has an SMC EtherEZ ISA network card that wasn't picked up on install, even though it was detected on prior attempts at running linux <ie SuSE 7.2,6.4 etc> Thanks all -- Mark Doucette kranked@oberon.ark.com WinFree and Lovin' it.
