[opensuse] Seamonkey can't send mail or open web pages

I have been running Seamonkey for several years. However, one problem has turned up recently. After running for a few days, I can no longer send email or oepn a web page. While this is happening, I can still use Thunderbird & Seamonkey normally, so the problem has nothing to with my computer or Internet connection.
