When my SUSE 9 box boots up it doesnt automatically start eth0. The only way I can get this runing it to use YAST to initialize it, then when I type ifconfig, its there. However, upon reboot, its no longer there.
How do I set eth0 to stay installed upon reboot?
Check /etc/modules.conf if it has an alias for eth0 set properly. E.g. for Intel card it should have "alias eth0 e100" Regards, -Kastus
