if i start applications from "Fast access" plasmoid, the Open With dialog appears!
Anyone else?
I don't thinks it's 4.1. It's nfs and something to do with root squash that doesn't allow permission changes. the only way around it is to go to the box, login as root init 3 rcnfs restart init 5 alt-f1 exit. What is fast access plasmoid? There is another workaround to try. Create two userspace desktop folder widgets. Call one desktop and the other apps. Link whatever you want them to use in apps. Make sure you own it, not them. Delete everything in desktop. It works after every update. It's a good way to make them listen.
